Kelley Blue Book Names Honda Best 2019 Car Brand
Drivers often start by looking for the best car brand before focusing in on specific models – after all, certain auto manufacturers carry a reputation for innovation, safety, and reliability across their entire range. Honda is one such automaker, so it’s no surprise to see Kelley Blue Book single them out as America’s:
- “Best Overall Brand”
- “Best Value Brand”
- “Most Refined Brand”
The Kelley Blue Book Brand Image Awards
The Kelley Blue Book Brand Image Awards have been recognizing outstanding automaker achievements for twelve years. They draw on insights collected during the annual Brand Watch study, which examines research taken from over 12,000 in-market new-vehicle shoppers.
13 brand winners are picked across seven categories, and this year Honda managed once again to come out ahead.
Best Overall Brand
As summed up by Kelley Blue Book themselves: “Honda’s sterling reputation for quality is just part of the reason it again sits atop the list for Best Overall Non-Luxury Brand.” They celebrated the breadth of its lineup, which takes in anything from innovative hybrids like the Honda Clarity Plug-in Hybrid to leading AWD models like the Honda Pilot and popular sedans like the Honda Civic and Honda Accord.
Best Value Brand
This marks the fifth year in a row Honda has won the Best Value Brand award. According to Kelley Blue Book, that’s down to their “great reputation for durability, reliability, and resale value.” Of course, class-above amenities, low running costs, and years at the top of the segment mean Honda models will remain the best value cars for years to come.
Most Refined Brand
Named Most Refined Brand for a second straight year, Honda shows that being the best doesn’t mean getting to rest on your laurels. With Honda Sensing safety technology added to more models as standard each year and all-new vehicles like the innovative Honda Passport hitting the roads of Michigan in 2019, Honda remains a step ahead of the competition by offering the most refined cars.
